Saturday, November 18, 2017

Southern Region Vice President and National Membership Committee Chairman Sweetheart Letitia Ivey traveled to Dallas, Texas, in October to attend the 69th Biennial National Leadership Conference of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc., on behalf of the Houston Council, where she currently serves as Chair of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee and representative of her graduate chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

The purpose of the conference is to teach and reinforce leadership skills among the members of the Historically Black Greek-Letter Fraternities and Sororities, provide updates on national key initiatives and resources, and to provide a forum for sharing ideas, best practices and networking opportunities with other NPHC members and the national leadership.

During the meeting, Sweetheart Ivey took a moment to fellowship with members of the current leadership of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., including 22nd International Grand Polaris Andre R. Manson, International Grand Vice Polaris Sean D. Housen, Sr., Executive Director Kevin Bennett, International Grand Secretary George R. Smith, Jr., several regional polari, and other Grand Council leaders.
