Partnerships are a vital part of our work and significantly expand our reach, resources, and impact. By collaborating with organizations, businesses, educational institutions, and community leaders, we are able to amplify shared goals, and make an even greater impact.
On September 19, 1963, at Morgan State College (now Morgan State University), 12 students founded what is now the nation’s fifth largest, predominately African-American social service fraternity: The Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated ®. Iota Sweethearts Auxiliary had been a valued tradition to the fraternity in many ways and the partnership between Iota and I.S.I. continues today. From community service events, to social gatherings and bonding events, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. and Iota Sweethearts, Inc. continue to operate as partnering organizations supporting each other's endeavors and working to improve the communities we serve.
