American Heart Health Month-ISI Goes Red!

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women—and its impact is even greater among marginalized communities. Black women are more likely to develop heart disease at younger ages, and women ages 20–39 are seeing rising rates of high blood pressure and heart-related conditions. Many symptoms are overlooked, misdiagnosed, or dismissed, delaying life-saving care.

Today, we stand in awareness, advocacy, and action. Knowing the signs, prioritizing prevention, and demanding equitable healthcare can save lives at every age.

Wear red. Speak up. Protect your heart.
